Cooking Around EU is a e-twinning project, a collaborative European project that brings together students from 8 countries to discover and celebrate Europe’s rich culinary diversity.

 

Through this project, participants exchange traditional recipes from their regions, prepare these dishes together, and learn about the cultural stories behind them.

The project promotes intercultural understanding, encouraging students to appreciate both the differences and the shared traditions that unite European cultures. It also provides an authentic context for practising English as a common language of communication, while developing practical skills in teamwork, creativity, and presentation.

A special focus will be placed on healthy eating habits, exploring how traditional dishes can be adapted to modern, balanced lifestyles. By cooking, sharing, and tasting together, students will experience European culture through its most universal language — food.
