🥗 Traditional Türkiye Salad: Gavurdağı Salad

Ingredients
3–4 tomatoes
2 cucumbers
1 small onion (optional)
A handful of walnuts
Half a bunch of parsley
3–4 tablespoons olive oil
1–2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
Salt
(Optional: a few drops of lemon juice)
Instructions
Chop the tomatoes and cucumbers into small pieces.
Finely chop the onion (you can soak it in water to reduce the strong taste).
Finely chop the parsley and roughly crush the walnuts.
Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
Add olive oil, pomegranate molasses, salt, and lemon juice if desired. Mix again.
This salad is healthy, easy to make, and very popular in Turkish cuisine.
🥛 Ayran (Traditional Turkish Yogurt Drink)
Ingredients
Yogurt
Cold water
A pinch of salt
Instructions
Put the yogurt, cold water, and salt into a bowl or blender.
Mix or blend until smooth and slightly foamy.
Serve cold.
Ayran is a very popular drink in Türkiye and is often served with meals.
